Registered Nurse - NICU

Location: Asheville, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. The NICU specializes in providing critical care to newborns needing intensive support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pediatric nursing and be adept in providing empathetic and skilled nursing care to our youngest patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess the health status of neonates in critical condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate parents regarding care procedures and health issues related to their infants.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• NRP certification required; Stable and NIC-RNC preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of Level III NICU experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented and organized personality traits.
