Case Management Support

Position Overview Devereux Florida provides programs and services that reunite families whose children have been removed from the home due to welfare concerns. Based out of Tampa, FL and covering Sarasota, DeSoto, and Manatee Counties, this position supports Case Managers by transporting clients—children, parents or caregivers—safely and timely to and from appointments and activities, including medical, court, family visitations, and other needed events. Responsibilities Transport clients between appointments and activities in a safe and timely manner. Assist with oversight of family visitations, documenting findings and providing them to the assigned Case Manager. Transport children to and from school, temporary placements, caregivers after hours, and weekend appointments as needed. Work early morning hours, be off mid‑day, return for afternoon shifts; be open to unscheduled work and pick up additional tasks as unplanned needs arise. Serve as an on‑call resource for evenings and weekends on a rotational basis; may be called out in an emergency. Schedule & Travel Full‑time field‑based position covering Sarasota, DeSoto, Manatee, and other counties as needed. Early mornings, evenings, overnight, and weekend hours available. Travel required to client residences and designated activity sites. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. One year experience in a related field, working with children preferred. Knowledge of car seat types, installation, and expiration dates. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Other Requirements Valid Florida Driver's License in good standing. Must complete a three‑day new hire orientation class (Monday to Wednesday, 9:00am to 5:00pm). Successfully pass pre‑employment medical screenings, including a drug test and TB test.
