The Position The Senior Construction Litigation Attorney will handle a manageable caseload involving construction‑related litigation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate both legal proficiency and strategic insight, while also being capable of independently managing cases through trial. Responsibilities Independently manage a caseload of construction litigation matters, from inception through resolution or trial. Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and court appearances. Collaborate with partners and team members on case strategy and complex legal issues. Communicate regularly with clients, providing timely updates, legal analysis, and strategic recommendations. Ensure compliance with court deadlines, procedural requirements, and firm standards. Utilize legal research tools and case management systems effectively. Qualifications JD from an ABA accredited law school Admitted to practice in the state of Florida 5+ years of defense litigation required Construction defect practice experience strongly preferred Experience in construction law or related practice areas preferred Drafting discovery and pretrial motions required 2nd chair trial experience a plus Superior analytical skills Strong written and oral communication skills Why Join Wilson Elser?
