Title: Humanities Division Adjunct Faculty Salary Range: $550 per credit hour Contract Term Length: Not Applicable Standard Hours: Varies Work Location: On-Site FLSA Status: Non-Exempt College: Madisonville Community College Department: Humanities Division Job Summary Madisonville Community College is in need of part‑time instructors to teach the following, face‑to‑face or online at $550 per credit hour: Communications English History Music Reading/Sociology Sociology/History Job Duties Teaching assignment includes both respiratory lecture and clinical courses and may include face‑to‑face day and evening, hybrid, accelerated, and online delivery modalities. Foster an active and inclusive learning environment and utilizing our learning management system (Blackboard) for communication and feedback. Professional development. Must possess a strong commitment to student learning and will be receptive to using active and engaged teaching methods and technology in the classroom. Demonstrate an interest in the mission of the comprehensive community college concept. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in teaching discipline or Master’s degree in a related field with 18 credit hours in the discipline. Community college teaching experience is preferred. Must possess professionalism and exemplary communication and presentation skills.
