Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer – Middleware, you will design, develop, and maintain the integration layer connecting digital applications with enterprise and third-party systems. You will play a key role in building scalable APIs, supporting major delivery partners, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate innovation and delivery. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and middleware services Build and support integrations with third-party platforms such as DoorDash, Uber Eats, and other marketplace partners Ensure reliable order processing, menu synchronization, and real-time data exchange Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) to improve productivity and code quality Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to define and implement solutions Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to engineering team members Ensure compliance with security, governance, and development standards Support production systems and troubleshoot complex technical issues Contribute to CI/CD practices and infrastructure automation initiatives AWS Lambda API Gateway DynamoDB SQS / SNS Node.js TypeScript Terraform Dynatrace Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field 5+ years of software development experience Strong experience building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs Proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript, Java, or C# Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, and SNS Experience with event-driven architecture and API integrations Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Git workflows Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) Proficiency using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Key Skills Middleware Engineering API Development & Integration AWS Serverless Architecture Node.js & TypeScript DynamoDB & NoSQL Databases Terraform & Infrastructure as Code CI/CD & DevOps Third-Party Platform Integrations AI-Assisted Software Development System Design & Scalability Preferred Qualifications Experience integrating with DoorDash, Uber Eats, or similar delivery platforms Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and AWS Cognito Knowledge of CloudFront, Akamai, and multi-region AWS deployments Experience with Dynatrace, Datadog, or CloudWatch Exposure to LLMs, AI agents, and Generative AI workflows Experience in QSR, Retail, or E-commerce industries Familiarity with React Native or mobile app integrations #J-18808-Ljbffr
