Job Description Job Description Mechanical Assembler Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $18-20 per hour, based on experience Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift Available Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and equipment using hand tools, power tools, blueprints, and detailed work instructions. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, previous assembly or manufacturing experience, and the ability to work efficiently while producing high-quality products. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to blueprints and work instructions Read and interpret mechanical drawings, diagrams, and bills of materials Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, drills, impact wrenches, and torque wrenches Install bolts, fasteners, bearings, gears, shafts, brackets, motors, and other mechanical components Measure and inspect components using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment Perform fitting, alignment, fastening, and adjustment of mechanical assemblies Follow established assembly procedures and production specifications Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process Identify defects, missing components, or assembly issues and make appropriate corrections Troubleshoot mechanical assembly problems and ensure equipment operates properly Maintain accurate production and quality records Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements Work as part of a team to meet daily production and quality goals Qualifications Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions Experience using hand and power tools Basic understanding of mechanical components and how they function Ability to accurately measure parts and assemblies Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical issues Good attendance and dependable work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and assembly techniques Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and move materials and components as required Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and work in various positions Ability to use hand and power tools throughout the workday Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Must be able to wear required PPE What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time, stable manufacturing employment Opportunities for overtime Benefits package Paid training and on-the-job development Opportunities for advancement Cross-training on different equipment and processes Clean and team-oriented work environment Apply today!
