– Draw quality blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations – Prepare specimens for laboratory testing accurately and efficiently – Explain procedures to patients to establish trust and ease concerns – Maintain accurate records and documentation of collected specimens and patient details – Follow established safety and procedural guidelines to ensure a secure and professional environment – Perform specimen collection and processing duties with confidence and precision – Demonstrate leadership behaviors and focus on process excellence – Support a safe, confidential, and positive atmosphere for patients, staff, and visitors

– Excellent venipuncture skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections – Ability to work independently with minimal supervision – Strong attention to detail and accuracy in specimen collection and documentation – Customer service skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members – Proficiency in keyboard and data entry to support record keeping – Ability to provide error-free work in a fast-paced environment

– High school diploma or equivalent required – Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic preferred – Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington) – Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; over one year preferred – Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime based on staffing needs – Previous customer service experience in retail or service environments is a plus
