Commercial Journeyman Electrician Orange Electric | Utah

Orange Electric is a growing electrical contractor seeking experienced Commercial Journeyman Electricians for commercial, industrial, and service work throughout Utah.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Apply NEC requirements and local electrical codes.
• Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, terminations, and equipment installation.
• Diagnose electrical issues and develop effective solutions.
• Communicate with customers, contractors, project managers, and team members.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
• Complete accurate job documentation.
• Assist with project planning and material management.
• Mentor apprentices and support a positive team environment.

Required Qualifications

• Current Utah Commercial Journeyman Electrician License
• Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience
• Strong understanding of NEC and electrical systems
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Service electrical experience
• Leadership or crew lead experience
• Knowledge of industrial controls, motors, and automation systems
• Strong customer service skills

Physical Requirements

• Climb ladders and work at heights
• Bend, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces
• Lift and carry up to 100 pounds
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
• Work indoors, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions
