JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective The Learning & Development Coordinator identifies, develops, and delivers training that supports organizational priorities, compliance, and employee growth. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective The Learning & Development Coordinator identifies, develops, and delivers training that supports organizational priorities, compliance, and employee growth. Essential Functions
- Design, develop, and maintain organizational training curriculum aligned with operational needs, compliance requirements, and staff development goals.
- Facilitate organizational training programs, including but not limited to MANDT, Mental Health First Aid, and CPR/First Aid.
- Leverage the organization's learning management system to build, assign, monitor, and report on training completion and effectiveness.
- Travel as needed to deliver in-person training and support learning initiatives across organizational locations.
- Support the development, implementation, and ongoing coordination of the organization's career pathways program.
- Ensure all training activities are accurately tracked, documented, and uploaded into VOANR's learning management system in a timely manner.
- Track training data and information to monitor training progress and identify any trends in training retention and comprehension.
- Act as a backup to the front desk as needed.
- Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to deliver training and provide instruction.
- Applies a solutions-oriented, servant leadership approach to addressing training needs and supporting staff.
- Maintains ethical practice standards and upholds organizational values.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills by effectively prioritizing tasks, managing multiple deadlines, and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Consistently demonstrates behaviors aligned with servant leadership and the organization's cultural values.

- A bachelor's degree or 2 years of equivalent experience
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Must either be certified as a trainer or be able to obtain and maintain valid certifications as a trainer for Mental Health First Aid, MANDT
- If not certified as a trainer, certification needs to be obtained within:
- 6 months of hiring for:
- Mental Health First Aid
- MANDT
- 6 months of hiring for:
- If not certified as a trainer, certification needs to be obtained within:
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field
- Two years of experience in the non-profit sector
- One to two years of program management experience in the non-profit sector
