Role Description The Professional Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for engaging with customers in the showroom and on the lot, identifying their vehicle needs, presenting suitable options, and guiding them through the sales process from initial contact to final delivery. Daily activities include conducting test drives, explaining vehicle features and benefits, preparing sales proposals, and coordinating with finance and service departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. The role also involves following up with prospects and existing customers, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and meeting individual and team sales targets. The Professional Sales Specialist is expected to stay informed about product inventories, current promotions, and market trends while representing the Shottenkirk brand with professionalism and integrity. Qualifications Strong Communication skills, including the ability to explain vehicle features clearly and build rapport with diverse customers. Demonstrated Customer Service skills with a focus on creating positive, long-term customer relationships. Proven Sales experience, including meeting or exceeding sales goals in automotive or related industries. Ability to contribute to Business Planning, such as forecasting sales opportunities and understanding local market dynamics. Experience in Training or mentoring team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement. High level of professionalism, ethical conduct, and a customer-centric mindset. Comfort working in a fast-paced, on-site retail environment, including evenings and weekends as needed. Basic proficiency with CRM systems, email, and standard office software. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, and ability to operate a variety of vehicles safely.
