• Level: Manager or Senior Manager
\n
• Work Environment: Hybrid/remote depending on location and engagement
\n
• Location/Remote: NYC, Chicago, Los Angeles, or San Francisco is the preference. Exceptional remote U.S. candidates with highly relevant Cyber M&A experience are encouraged to apply

• Travel: Ability to travel for client engagements as needed (0~30% but likely on low end)

• Rate: Open and competitive (priority is consultant fit over budget)

What You’ll Do

\n

\n
• Lead cybersecurity workstreams across carve-out/divestiture and merger integration transactions
\n
• Drive Day 1 readiness, separation, integration, and post-close transition initiatives
\n
• Develop and execute cybersecurity roadmaps for standing up, separating, integrating, or transforming security programs
\n
• Assess and design cybersecurity operating models across people, process, and technology
\n
• Guide clients through security architecture, GRC, controls implementation, cloud/application security, identity, data security, SecOps, and tooling decisions
\n
• Support TSA-related transition planning and technology/security separation
\n
• Lead workshops, gather requirements, and translate findings into actionable execution plans
\n
• Interface directly with executive stakeholders, including private equity sponsors and portfolio-company leadership
\n
• Lead consultants and workstreams while driving delivery quality and client outcomes
\n

What We’re Looking For — Must-Haves

\n

\n
• Demonstrated hands-on experience executing cybersecurity work across both carve-out/divestiture and merger integration transactions
\n
• Experience that extends beyond M&A diligence into post-close execution and implementation
\n
• Manager or Senior Manager-level experience leading complex cybersecurity engagements or transaction workstreams
\n
• Strong cybersecurity breadth across areas such as:
\n
• Security architecture
\n
• GRC / risk & compliance
\n
• Identity and access management
\n
• Cloud and application security
\n
• Data protection
\n
• Security operations / incident response
\n
• Experience taking cybersecurity initiatives from assessment → roadmap → implementation
\n
• Strong consulting/client-facing experience
\n
• Ability to confidently engage and present to senior and executive stakeholders
