About the firm:
\nA real estate investment firm focused on acquiring, preserving, and operating affordable multifamily housing across the United States, particularly in the Southeast and West. The firm invests in communities serving families and seniors, including properties supported by Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and Section 8 programs. Its strategy combines acquisitions, property improvements, and active asset management to preserve affordability and strengthen long-term property performance.
\n \nAbout the role:
\n- \n
- Source and evaluate affordable multifamily acquisition opportunities, including LIHTC and Section 8 properties. \n
- Build financial models to assess property cash flows, financing options, renovation costs, and investment returns. \n
- Lead due diligence by reviewing financials, affordability restrictions, subsidy contracts, and property conditions. \n
- Prepare investment committee materials and coordinate with lenders, brokers, attorneys, and sellers through closing. \n
- Work with asset management and construction teams to develop business plans that improve property performance and preserve affordability. \n
