Senior Project Designer (Architecture)

Job Description

Todd & Associates, Inc. · Arizona· Full-Time

\n

\n

We're a design-obsessed architecture firm looking for someone who loves getting projects from conceptual sketch to “built and beautiful.” If you enjoy collaborating with developers, enjoy mentoring up-and-coming designers, and want real ownership over the projects you touch — let's talk.

\n

\n

THE ROLE

\n

As a Senior Project Designer, you'll lead design on your own slate of projects — steering concepts through construction documents, keeping clients delighted, and making sure the details actually hold up in the real world. You'll team up with Studio Directors, and you'll be a go-to mentor for the designers around you.

\n

\n

Your focus: residential-driven design — multifamily, mixed-use, low-, mid-, and high-density housing, plus student and senior housing.

\n

\n

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

\n

\n
• Owning the design process on your projects, start to finish
\n
• Teaming up with Directors and Project Managers to keep things on time, on budget, and code-compliant
\n
• Mentoring studio members and helping them level up
\n
• Leading client meetings and design reviews with confidence (and good energy)
\n
• Guiding renderings, models, and presentations that make ideas click
\n
• Jumping into proposals and pitches when a great new project comes knocking
\n

\n

\n

WHAT YOU BRING

\n

\n
• Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture (or related field)
\n
• 10+ years of architectural design experience
\n
• Strong visual/graphic communication chops
\n
• Solid grasp of building codes and zoning
\n
• A collaborative, mentor-minded spirit
\n
• Integrity and good vibes to earn trust
