Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Multiple Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) positions are available for the 2026-2027 academic year. These roles are located at various elementary, middle, and high schools, offering a variety of experiences within the district. Immediate needs include maternity leave coverage and flexible schedules ranging from part-time (2-3 days per week) to full-time (5 days per week). Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome—supervision is provided to help you grow and succeed.

Preferred backgrounds for these roles involve recent, hands-on experience working with school-aged children, particularly those in severe to profound programs and those requiring Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) supports.

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida SLP License required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
• Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Proven ability to work with severe-profound populations and utilize AAC
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Must be available for on-site service (no virtual placements or SLPAs accepted)

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech/language therapy to students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to support student progress
• Maintain detailed records and progress notes in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Attend relevant meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions
