Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference in students' lives by providing Speech-Language Pathology services across multiple schools in an engaging and supportive environment. School-based SLPs are needed for contract positions serving Pre-K through high school populations. Immediate openings are available for both full- and part-time schedules, beginning August 2026 through May 2027. Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply and will receive supervision for a valuable start to their careers. Please note, these onsite roles do not accept SLPAs or virtual candidates at this time.

Positions are available at elementary, middle, and high school campuses:

• Maternity leave at DeBary Elementary (Sept–Dec, 5 days/week)
• South Daytona Elementary (Jan–May, 5 days/week)
• University High School (5-day and 2-day opportunities)
• T. Dewitt Taylor Middle High (3 days/week)
• Champion Elementary (5 days/week, experience with severe-profound and AAC required)
• Hinson Middle (3 days/week)
• Volusia Pines Elementary (5 days/week)

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC preferred, CFs considered)
• Previous school-based SLP experience highly valued
• Skilled with a range of student abilities; experience with severe-profound populations and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC) is a plus
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Able to work independently and adapt to a variety of educational settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language services to students according to IEPs
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
