Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Multiple contract opportunities are available for School-Based Speech-Language Pathologists—including positions for both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CFs). The district offers supportive supervision for CFs, allowing you to advance your career in a nurturing setting.

Openings exist for full-time and part-time schedules across a variety of elementary, middle, and high schools. Assignments include maternity leave coverage and ongoing needs, with start dates ranging from August 2026 through the end of May 2027. Cases include opportunities to work with severe-profound populations as well as those requiring AAC interventions.

What you’ll bring:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current or eligible Florida SLP License (CCC-SLP required)
• School and pediatric SLP experience preferred
• Experience with severe-profound populations and AAC (required for certain sites)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering student growth in diverse educational settings

Your role will include:

• Conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy for students with speech and language needs
• Collaborating with classroom teachers, families, and other school personnel
• Maintaining timely documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student support teams
• Providing guidance or supervision for CFs (as applicable)
