Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Several full-time and part-time contract assignments are available at elementary, middle, and high schools, addressing varying needs—including immediate maternity leave coverage and ongoing support throughout the academic year. This opportunity welcomes both experienced SLPs and clinical fellows (CFs); comprehensive supervision is provided to help launch or further your school-based career.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, or Clinical Fellow (CF) ready for supervision
• Prior experience working in school settings; strong background with severe and profound populations, as well as augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems, is especially valued
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to guide service recommendations
• Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Effectively manage caseload documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Support students’ communication goals in both individual and group settings
• Contribute expertise to team meetings and family consultations

As a valued member of the educational community, you'll work Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week) in a supportive, student-centered setting. Assignments range from three to five days a week at various schools, providing you with flexibility and a chance to build experience across age groups and needs.
