NOW HIRING: PAYROLL CLERK (TEMPORARY)

Position: Payroll Clerk

Pay: $17-$23/hour (DOE)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-Time, 8:00 AM or 8:30 AM start

Assignment Length: Approximately 3-4 months

Benefits: Weekly pay, Medical, Dental, Vision

This position will support the payroll department with processing employee payroll, verifying invoices, preparing reports, and responding to payroll-related inquiries. If you are organized, accurate, and comfortable working with numbers and deadlines, we encourage you to apply!

Job Responsibilities of Payroll Clerk:

• Assist Payroll Technicians with processing semi-monthly payroll.

• Verify invoices and prepare checks for payment.

• Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and outside agencies.

• Prepare biweekly, monthly, and quarterly payroll and benefits reports.

• Complete wage verifications and surveys for government agencies.

• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality when handling payroll information.

• Perform additional administrative and payroll-related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications for Payroll Clerk

• Previous experience in payroll

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

• Strong communication and basic computer skills.

• Ability to work accurately and meet payroll deadlines.
