Energy Recovery Shift Supervisor
Location: Circleville, OH
Are you an experienced manufacturing or plant operations leader looking for your next challenge?
We are seeking an Energy Recovery Shift Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient operation of a critical energy recovery and steam generation facility within a large manufacturing environment. This is a hands on leadership position where you will lead shift personnel, ensure operational excellence, and support the safe processing of materials through the site's energy recovery systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise shift personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Oversee kiln, incineration, material handling, inventory control, and steam generation activities
• Provide technical guidance and support to plant operators and team members
• Monitor operational performance and address process issues as they arise
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational procedures
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility
• Resolve day to day operational and personnel issues while maintaining a positive team environment
What We're Looking For
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within manufacturing, utilities, production, maintenance, power generation, waste management, or a related industrial environment
• Strong understanding of industrial operations and safe working practices
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Boiler Operator License (Ohio) or willingness to obtain certification
