CNC Machinist / Large Component Machining Specialist
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Inova Staffing is looking to hire a CNC Machinist / Large Component Machining Specialist for one of our clients in Lakewood. This is a DIRECT HIRE position. 1st and 2nd shift available, competitive pay 40-50 hours/week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate New Equipment-TOS Varnsdorf Horizontal Boring Mill (5-axis machining capability) Integrated rotary table, convertible for VTL use-Gurutzpe Lathe Live tooling capabilities Siemens Sinumerik One Control with Virtual Twin technology 30-foot turning diameter, 160-ton table load capacity
- Achieve tolerances as tight as ±0.001", depending on job specifications.
- Execute complex setups for large components, balancing setup time versus machining time.
- Handle components that require extended machining reach and unique setup processes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality and efficiency in every job.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with large component machining and CNC equipment.
- Strong understanding of Siemens Sinumerik One Control or equivalent CNC control systems.
- Ability to achieve precision tolerances and adapt to varying job requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with 5-axis machining and live tooling is highly desirable.
