Job Overview Yukon Management LLC is seeking a qualified full-time Heavy Truck Driver to support its Roads and Grounds contract at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. Yukon Management is responsible for lawn maintenance, snow and ice removal, and road maintenance throughout the installation. McCoy, WI Schedule: Varies FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Reports to: Project Manager Base Wage: $31.84 per hour Health & Welfare: $8.21 per hour Job Overview Yukon Management LLC is seeking a qualified full-time Heavy Truck Driver to support its Roads and Grounds contract at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. Yukon Management is responsible for lawn maintenance, snow and ice removal, and road maintenance throughout the installation. Key Responsibilities Operate single- and tandem-axle dump trucks for road-maintenance activities. Operate heavy trucks equipped with front and wing plows for snow and ice removal. Haul materials associated with road and grounds maintenance. Perform required truck inspections and operate assigned vehicles safely. Support lawn mowing, trimming, and other Roads and Grounds duties when assigned. Report to work during inclement weather and at various times of the day or night based on operational requirements. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Must have a Class A CDL (commercial driver’s license) Experience operating single- and tandem-axle heavy trucks. Experience operating trucks equipped with front and wing snowplows. Acceptable driving record. Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to respond to variable schedules and snow-removal call-ins. Ability to safely perform the essential duties of the position. Familiarity with Fort McCoy and the Roads and Grounds scope of work preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS LIFTING & CARRYING Physical effort is required. The work requires routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds. Employee must maintain a constant state of mental alertness at all times. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is performed outdoors in extreme cold, wet, or windy conditions typical of Wisconsin. May require rotating shifts, on-call availability, nights, weekends, and holidays depending on mission needs.
