Phlebotomist IOP
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for its Leesville, Louisiana location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient care in a clinical setting. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with opportunities for professional growth within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Provide customer service and perform clerical duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Experience with all patient age groups preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Capability to work independently and in team settings
