As a Senior Accountant at Easy Street Capital, you will convert detailed loan-level data from multiple sources into timely, GAAP-compliant financial statements. We are looking for a highly organized and driven individual to join our Accounting Team at the premier private lender in Texas. Responsibilities will be focused on financialreporting, whilealsoproviding cross-functional support to operational teams andseekingto proactively add valuetothe Easy Street Capital debt platform. Be anessentialpart of our month-end close process byrecordingjournal entries, preparing account reconciliations, conducting flux analyses, and ensuring close iscompletedtimelyand accurately Be a key playerin identifyingprocess improvements to streamline close and build scalable solutions to support the growth ofEasy Street Capital Contribute to external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls Compilesupport for various tax filings and own assigned regulatory reporting tasks Assistinresearchingtechnical accountingmatters Prepare ad hoc financial analysisand reporting in support of Leadership Bachelor’s in Accountingrequired; CPAor public accounting experience (preferred) 3+years of accounting experience (required); prior real estate or financial service industry experience specifically related toFinTechs, residential or mortgage loans, or securitization trusts (preferred) Proficiency in Excel is required (there is a test); experience with BI tools exposure to SQL, middleware applications, and/or data science (preferred) Prior experience working with QuickBooks (strongly preferred) Previoustechnical accounting experience inany ofthefollowingareasis a plus:revenue recognition (ASC 606), servicing and transfers (ASC 860), consolidations (ASC 810), FVO (ASC 825), and/or equity and equity-linked financial instruments (ASC 480) Clear, concise communicator whoembracesfeedback and continuous improvement Company sponsored health, dental, and vision insurance Company sponsored 401(k) plan Paid vacation time off Paid sick leave Weekly in office lunch Frequenthappy hours #J-18808-Ljbffr
