Direct Support Professional (DSP) Requirements DSP certified or the ability to become certified through our paid training At least 18 years of age Transportation to your shifts Lift 50 lbs Pass a criminal background check Direct Support Professional (DSP) Duties Assist individuals with personal care needs – all ADLs Assisting with all household task, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning; maintain a safe and healthy home environment that encourages learning. Monitor individuals and engage in redirection. Document individuals’ activities, concerns and progress notes as required. Participate in and out-of-home activities which may include driving company vehicles. Provide an Abuse and Neglect free environment at all times.
