Phlebotomist II

Location: DeKalb, IL

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Employment Type: Contingent

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30am–2:30pm; every other Saturday, 7:00am–12:00pm

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients

• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures

• Verify patient identification, demographics, and specimen labeling accuracy in the presence of the patient

• Maintain required documentation and records with accuracy and attention to detail

• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

• Support coverage at Patient Service Centers or in‑office locations as business needs dictate

What We're Looking For

• A current, up‑to‑date resume

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

• Experience working in a Patient Service Center environment preferred

• Strong customer service background in a retail or service setting preferred

• Ability to work independently with minimal on‑site supervision

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a high‑volume setting

• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable)

• Keyboarding and data entry proficiency

• Ability to meet compliance requirements
