Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI Team

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy/GI team in San Antonio. This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to adult and elderly patients undergoing both diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments before, during, and after procedures.
• Perform IV insertions and administer sedation and medications according to established protocols.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond effectively to any complications that may arise.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding procedures and care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in endoscopy or GI.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
