About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Wellness Officer (CWO) to serve as a visionary leader in the development and implementation of a comprehensive, data-informed approach to mental health and well-being. The CWO will be responsible for overseeing all campus student mental health and wellness programs, promoting a culture of psychological resilience, and ensuring accessible, integrated care. This role involves strategic leadership, supervision of a large team, and collaboration across divisions to embed mental health and well-being principles into all aspects of campus life. The CWO will also maintain a limited clinical practice to stay proficient in direct service and will be a key figure in crisis response and postvention efforts. Applicants for the CWO position at the company should have a PhD, PsyD, or MD with current certification in psychiatry, and at least 10 years of experience in mental health services or student mental health administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evidence-based mental health care, experience in leading integrated well-being initiatives, and a proven track record of building cross-campus coalitions. Expertise in culturally responsive and trauma-informed care, as well as relevant business management experience, is required. The CWO will be expected to be a thought leader in student mental health and well-being, with excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
