HR/Payroll Assistant Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 20.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

HR/Payroll Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming HR department calls
• Respond to employment verification requests
• Record and report employee call-ins
• Assist employees with general HR/Payroll related questions
• Assist employees with paid/unpaid time off questions and paperwork
• Assist employees with tax form changes and employee records updates
• Print employee documents (i.e. insurance cards, check stubs)
• Filing, sorting, and scanning HR/Payroll employee documents
• Perform data entry
• Access ADP and Attendance Counts to respond to employee requests (i.e., benefits, attendance points, accrual balances)
• Update employee information in ADP when needed
• Respond to general questions (i.e. 401k, HSA)
• Order supplies for HR/Payroll (catering, employee events)
• Assisting employees with claim issues, communicating with insurance agent as needed to provide resolution
• Maintain accurate records in ADP and Leave Management systems

HR/Payroll Assistant Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent HR/Payroll experience
• Office experience, 2+ years required
• HR/ADP payroll experience preferred
• Ability to effectively and professionally communicate in person, by phone, and by email
• Strong administrative skills
• Customer service
• Strong MS Office skills
• Detail oriented
• Self-starter with the ability to adapt and problem solve
• Ability to work well in a team environment
