Barista/Ice Cream Server

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/Ice Cream Server to join our team in creating exceptional coffee & ice cream experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring that each drink meets our high standards of quality and presentation. You will play a key role in fostering a welcoming atmosphere in our café while delivering outstanding customer service. Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences. Prepare and serve hard scoop ice cream along with soft serve ice cream cones, shakes, and blasts according to established recipes and customer preferences. Take orders using our drive‑thru headset. Serve customers through the drive‑thru window including online orders that were placed at the restaurant. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through our Clover POS system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and equipment. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during all food preparation activities. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, ice cream toppings and other supplies needed. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or working in a café environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating cash registers is beneficial. Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
