Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Current Washington (WA) SLP license with an Education Staff Associate (ESA) credential
• CFY candidates encouraged to apply
• Fingerprinting with OSPI completed within the past two years
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering student success across diverse grade levels

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ communication abilities, including receptive and expressive language, articulation, voice, fluency, and neuromuscular/non-vocal concerns
• Provide clear, thorough documentation of assessment results and describe the effects of communication disorders on academic performance
• Develop individualized treatment plans, recommend interventions, and participate in IEP meetings as a collaborative team member
• Offer ongoing support, education, and resources to students, teachers, and families
• Adapt caseload assignments to match your skills and interests, with a target caseload of approximately 45 students
