About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Ardor Health Solutions to find a qualified Hospice RN in Marshall, Michigan, 49068!

Pain & Symptom Management: Assess patients and administer medications/treatments to ensure comfort and alleviate suffering.Care Planning: Develop and update customized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians, social workers, and other team members.Family Support: Educate family caregivers on disease progression, what to expect, and medication management.Crisis Intervention: Respond quickly to sudden changes in a patient's condition to manage pain and provide crisis support.Documentation: Keep accurate, up-to-date patient medical records and facilitate communication between the care team.Emotional & Spiritual Care: Offer compassionate companionship, grief counseling, and post-mortem support to grieving relatives. Submission Requirements

• 2 years Hospice experience - [REQUIRED}

Certification Requirements

• BLS (AHA)

State License Requirements

• Michigan

• Active at time of Submission

About the Facility Oaklawn Hospital is a 78-bed state-of-the-art facility located in charming Marshall, Michigan. During the winter months, the hospital hosts a weekly indoor farmers market with goods from 20 different vendors from within an 80-mile radius.

Marshall is home to one of the nation s largest Historic Landmark Districts, including the world-famous Honolulu House . The quaint downtown offers specialty stores and antique shops designed for the selective shopper. On days off, travelers in Marshall can visit the American Museum of Magic in town, visit FireKeepers Casino just 15 minutes down the highway, or travel less than 90-minutes to the great cities of Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Lansing, or Ann Arbor!

Provides direct skilled nursing in the home setting using all phases of nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation to provide patient care.
