Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at a Level 2 trauma center. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to limited OB, vascular exams, and biopsies while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using standard procedures and techniques.
• Assist in image acquisition and ensure quality control of ultrasound images.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort.
• Document procedures in the electronic health record system (EPIC).
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to provide holistic patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience required; first-time travelers are welcome.
• BLS certification is required.
• ARDMS or ARRT Sonography certification required; ARDMS (AB) and ARDMS (OB) preferred.
• Experience with EPIC and InteleRad PACS preferred.
• Siemens ultrasound experience is a plus.
