Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiology/Imaging, Ultrasound Tech - General to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures including liver elastography, vascular exams, and general ultrasound imaging in a level 2 trauma center.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care and ensure effective clinical operations.
• Participate in rotating shifts and float to other Cone Health facilities if necessary to meet department needs.
• Adhere to facility procedures and protocols, ensuring compliance with accreditation and safety standards.
• Operate Siemens ultrasound equipment and utilize PACS for image management and reporting.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding procedures and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in ultrasound technology with relevant clinical skills.
• Certification in BLS, ARDMS or ARRT Sonography required; additional ARDMS (AB) and ARDMS (OB) preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system required; InteleRad PACS experience preferred.
• Proficiency in performing a wide range of procedures, including biopsies and vascular exams, is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment and adapt to changing demands.
• Must be able to adhere to a 50-mile local radius requirement, and willingness to float among Cone Health campuses.
