Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,836–$1,962 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 Nights Start date: 07/27/2026 Work setting: Skilled Nursing Facility; Med Surg with possible ER coverage in a CAH Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for Med Surg and, as needed, ER patients, including monitoring, assessment, and documentation. Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects and respond to changes in patient condition. Triage and manage a range of Med Surg and emergency presentations; assist with codes and emergent events per established protocols. Collaborate with LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary staff to ensure safe care delivery, patient flow, and effective handoffs. Document care in the electronic medical record (Athena) and participate in discharge planning and patient education. Adhere to infection control, privacy, and safety policies; maintain professional standards in a small-team CAH setting. Requirements Active RN license in Kansas or multi‑state licensure accepted. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA) required. Experience: Med Surg and ER exposure; travel experience preferred but first‑time travelers considered; under 3 years’ experience may be reviewed. Education: RN degree; current licensure to practice. Ability to work in a CAH environment and float between Med Surg and ER as needed. Proficiency with Athena EMR or willingness to learn; strong communication and teamwork skills.
