About the Position

Job Title

Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines in a high-acuity hospital setting
• Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory equipment including GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/pediatric vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 non-invasive device, and high-flow oxygen devices (Vapotherm, Comfort Flow)
• Document patient care and respiratory interventions using Cerner EMR
• Float to all critical care units and general floor areas as needed
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 10–25 patients per shift alongside a team of 12–16 night-shift RRTs
• Adhere to weekend scheduling requirements, including a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience working in a high-acuity or Level II trauma center environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Experience with NICU or pediatric respiratory care
