IFS Business Interiors is seeking a creative, people-focused professional to join our team in a hybrid role spanning Business Development, Design, and Marketing.

About the Role

This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the design and delivery of thoughtful furniture solutions. You’ll work closely with design firms, facility managers, and end-user clients, taking a consultative approach to understand their needs and translate them into smart, functional solutions.

The position offers schedule flexibility due to its hybrid nature and is well suited for candidates with backgrounds in design, marketing, education, or sales who thrive in collaborative, client-facing environments.

Key Responsibilities

·         Build and maintain strong relationships through networking, prospecting, direct marketing, and lead development

·         Identify and cultivate contacts within the Architecture & Design, Construction, Real Estate, and Higher Education communities

·         Promote and educate clients on IFS products, services, and capabilities

·         Assist with proposals, quotations, drawings, presentations, and bid opportunities

·         Identify client needs and develop preliminary recommendations and presentations

·         Represent IFS professionally in sales meetings, presentations, and community engagements

Qualifications

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills

·         Two- or four-year degree preferred (Interior Design, Marketing, Business, Education, or related field) or equivalent work experience

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office

·         AutoCAD experience a plus

·         Experience or exposure to design, marketing, sales, commercial furniture, or the A&D community preferred
