Housekeeping SupervisorIf the following job requirements and experience match your skills, please ensure you apply promptly.Pay:$26.00 - $32.00 per hourJob description:Supervise, instruct, plan, and assign work to building cleaning staff for morning and evening shift.· Inspect vacated rooms, corridors, linen rooms, stairs, public areas, lobby, lounges, and gym for cleanliness.Establish schedule and plan daily work assignmentsResponsible for the smooth operation of the floor assigned.Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors, and linen rooms of the floor.Supervise room attendants and housemanOrganizes and facilitates the room-making process.Daily allocation of rooms and deep cleaning tasks to team membersInspect and approve staff work performance.· Communicates effectively with staff.Report maintenance issues to the Maintenance/Engineering DepartmentReport damages, losses, and supply shortages to the Director of HSK.Receive any complaints and report to appropriate individuals for necessary action or adjustment.Participate in periodic heavy cleaning tasks and routine housekeeping duties, as required.Motivating, training, and retraining of room attendants and housemenResponsible for addressing complaints of members of staff on situations preventing or inhibiting their utmost performance.Recognizing areas that need to be cleaned and assigning such areas to specific members of staff.Monitor staff performance, ensuring the hotel is running well and guests are happyEnsuring that all members of the housekeeping team, particularly new hires, are aware of the organization's cleaning procedures.Keeping housekeeping equipment in good working order and establishing the minimum standards for staff attire.Oversee safe use of cleaning equipment and supplies.Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationshipsReport all housekeeping problems to the Director of HousekeepingEnsure all operational and safety procedures are properly followedWork with the Director of Housekeeping to forecast accurately as well as project future demand.Perform other related duties, as assigned.Evenings & Weekends RequiredOur company does not discriminate against its associates or applicants because of race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, sexual orientation, veteran status, physical or mental disability, or medical condition.
