Manager, SEC Financial Reporting

X Energy, LLC – Financial Reporting Manager X Energy, LLC is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to support the Company’s consolidated financial statements and the application of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The role will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate and timely preparation and reporting of financial data. Responsibilities Support month-end accounting close process, including recording journal entries and performing account reconciliations. Lead preparation and review of monthly financial consolidations and development of consolidated financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, equity statements, statements of cash flows). Analyze fluctuations in financial statements and report variances to management. Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and other regulatory and statutory reporting requirements. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures for new business processes or where existing documentation is insufficient. Evaluate and implement new accounting pronouncements. Assist with ERP system implementations and special projects. Maintain a professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication. Perform other duties as assigned by manager. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting and publicly listed companies preferred). CPA required. Location & Work Site Expectations 530 Gaither Road, Rockville, MD 3 days in office per week; 5% travel required as needed for project assignments. Standard office hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm ET, Monday–Friday. Compensation Expected salary range: $145,000 – $170,000 per year (base salary only).
