Loan Closer II - Home Equity

Provide support to Consumer and Mortgage Loan Processing through document preparation for loan closings Work with closing agents to ensure necessary information is provided to complete loan closing packages Prepare legal, regulatory, and custom closing documentation within company policies and applicable legal and regulatory guidelines Review loan documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with state and federal lending regulations Complete quality control analysis of standard and nonstandard loan documentation Ensure data integrity and perform workgroup functions to avert losses and reduce undue risk Act as a mentor and resource to Loan Closer I Provide training to Loan Closer I Answer phones to assist internal and external customers Requirements Associate's Degree and/or Bachelor's degree Mortgage Operations: 2–4 years of loan documentation experience Consumer Operations: 1+ years of loan documentation experience Knowledge of applicable lending practices Ability to understand and apply processing procedures and processes Detail oriented with ability to audit and correct procedural errors Ability to maintain positive business relationships with partners, customers, and agents Ability to handle heavy workload and meet stringent deadlines Ability to interact effectively with internal customers from various departments Working knowledge of the Bank's loan products Excellent oral and written communication skills PC skills Excellent customer service skills Availability to work a variable schedule, including nights and/or weekends Ability to perform sedentary work continuously Ability to perform multiple tasks continuously Ability to operate standard office equipment continuously Ability to concentrate for long periods continuously Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions continuously Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide continuously Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in loan documentation processes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines while maintaining data integrity.
