HR assistant

Job Summary We are seeking an HR Assistant for a temporary opportunity supporting a busy Human Resources team in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This role is ideal for an HR professional with 1 to 2 years of experience who is comfortable working with HRIS systems, handling compliance‑related documentation, and supporting accurate timekeeping processes. The HR Assistant will provide additional administrative and systems support during a period of increased workload. This is a great opportunity to work with a collaborative HR team in the construction, industrial facilities, and infrastructure space, where accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and responsive support are highly valued. The environment is team‑oriented, structured, and focused on helping employees and internal stakeholders stay compliant and organized. Key Responsibilities Schedule compliance‑related tasks and training assignments for employees. Save, organize, and maintain HR and compliance documents in required formats. Review employee timesheets, identify discrepancies, and make necessary corrections. Prepare HR documents, reports, and administrative materials as needed. Use HRIS systems to support employee records, compliance tracking, and HR workflows. Provide general administrative support to the HR team to help manage increased workload. Compensation and Benefits Pay: $25.00 per hour. Job type: Contract/Temporary. Assignment length: Temporary position, length of assignment has not been established. Location: Rancho Cucamonga office. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch.
