Exciting opportunity for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support an engaging young learner on their educational journey! This full-time contract position runs from now through May 27th, 2027, ensuring consistent hours and a rewarding experience each day of the school week. The assignment is a 1:1 role with a middle school transfer student who primarily attends general education classes, with the exception of a dedicated period with a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing for IEP services. The specific school location will be confirmed prior to your start, offering a chance to support a welcoming community in the Greenville area.

Key Qualifications:

• EIPA score of 3.5 or above (required by recent SC State regulations)
• Successful completion of the EIPA written test
• Minimum of a high school diploma
• Ability to pass a background check
• Willingness to adhere to the SLI Code of Ethics (signing upon onboarding)

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide seamless communication support in mainstream classroom settings, facilitating both academic learning and peer interaction
• Collaborate with a dedicated team, including teachers and Deaf/Hard of Hearing specialists
