Position Description Job Title / Labor Category Title Senior Training Specialist Location Washington, DC - Washington, DC 20003 US (Primary) Security Clearance Requirements Secret Job Description We are seeking a SeniorTraining Specialist to join our team in Washington, D.C . Responsibilities: Perform complex training development and delivery tasks in support of SEA 21 initiatives. Provide guidance, mentoring, and oversight to junior and mid-level training and development contractors. Supervise and evaluate the performance of training team members to ensure high-quality support and compliance with contractual requirements. Lead efforts in planning, designing, and implementing effective training programs tailored to Navy and DoD personnel. Ensure all training materials are aligned with current DoD regulations, policies, and standards. Coordinate with stakeholders to assess training needs, gather requirements, and integrate feedback into course development. Travel as required for site visits, audits, or coordination meetings (up to 10%). Job Requirements Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in training development Demonstrated experience overseeing contractor performance and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements Proven supervisory experience, including hiring, coaching, and managing training staff Strong background in interpreting and applying DoD policies, regulations, and standards Ability to travel (up to 10%) for site visits or stakeholder meetings Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Degree 12+years of professional training development experience Experience working within Navy programs or similar DoD training initiatives Travel % 0 - 10% Sellers and Associates, LLC is an E-Verify company and an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
