Job Title: C6 or C5 Licensed Low Voltage Technician

Location: New Haven & Hartford County, CT

Employment Type: Contract (Long-Term Opportunity)

Overview:

We are seeking experienced C6 Licensed Low Voltage Technicians to support ongoing fiber optic installation projects across New Haven and Hartford County. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent work and strong project visibility, supporting active fiber builds in multi-dwelling environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install fiber optic cabling in multi-dwelling units (MDUs) (apartment complexes, residential buildings)
• Pull, route, and secure fiber and low-voltage cabling
• Terminate and test fiber connections to industry standards
• Perform troubleshooting and ensure quality of installations
• Work on active fiber buildouts in live environments
• Follow prints, scopes of work, and project direction from leads
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site

Required Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut C6 Or C5 Low Voltage License
• Strong experience with fiber optic installation, termination, and testing
• Experience in low-voltage cabling environments
• Ability to work independently and within a team on active job sites
• Comfortable working in residential/commercial construction environments

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working in MDU or large-scale fiber deployments
• Familiarity with testing equipment and documentation
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship

Work Environment:

• Active construction and residential project environments
• Long-term, stable project pipeline across multiple sites in CT

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hartford, CT.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
