Program Analyst

Duties
The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.
- Sets strategy and direction relating to the implementation and execution of program management capability and support. Plans, coordinates, and integrates activities of TE/GE programs and projects.
- Performs critical program and project support and review and analysis across a broad spectrum of issues, such as digital services, technology, modernization, internal and external audits, media requests, requests under the Freedom of Information Act, workforce recruitment, hiring, training, and retention.
- Applies technical knowledge of planning, programming, budgeting, operating division methodologies, and execution to the integration and execution of TE/GE directed actions and stationing initiatives that impact programs and services.
- Develops goals and objectives, establishes priorities and milestones. Supports project teams in applying program and project management standards and processes in the development and implementation of initiatives supporting TE/GE.
- Reviews program execution, assesses and evaluates effectiveness of operations and support relationships, and recommends program changes.
