Registered Nurse (RN) - Mother Baby
Join a team dedicated to providing exceptional care in the Mother Baby Unit. We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with experience in mother-baby care to support our patients during their postpartum recovery.
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 34 private couplet rooms
- Staff Size: 78
- Patient Ratios: 1:3-4 couplets
- Type of Equipment: Alaris pumps, Bilirubin blankets/lights
- EMR: Cerner
Qualifications
- Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Mother Baby care
- Must Have:
- Mother Baby experience
- Preferred Skills:
- Travel experience
- Caring for patients on Magnesium Sulfate post delivery
- STABLE certification
Responsibilities
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and assess maternal and infant health
- Educate parents on newborn care and postpartum recovery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Perform circumcisions as needed
Work Environment
- Dress Code: Scrub Attire - Navy Blue/White
- Weekends: Required
- Floating Areas: May assist in Labor & Delivery and NICU as needed
