The Senior Solution Advisor role at Granicus is a strategic, high-impact presales position for experienced professionals who excel at storytelling, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional collaboration. As a Senior Advisor, you’ll lead “Art of the Possible” and Vision Demonstrations that are critical to helping public agencies visualize transformation—before a formal solution design is even on the table. You will serve as a thought partner to account executives and product marketing, shaping early-stage opportunity direction and ensuring our solution messaging lands with clarity, relevance, and confidence. What we're looking for: 2–4 years of experience in presales, solution consulting, or client-facing SaaS roles Demonstrated ability to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences Strong presentation and communication skills Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence without authority Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms Knowledge of public sector challenges and how technology addresses them is a plus Alignment with Granicus values of mission-first service, trust, and innovation Key responsibilities: Deliver "Art of the Possible" and Vision Demonstrations that connect agency goals with Granicus capabilities Conduct light discovery to understand agency context, pain points, and decision dynamics Collaborate with AEs to shape opportunity strategy in the early stages of the deal cycle Adapt messaging for different roles and levels—from IT stakeholders to executives Translate product functionality into relatable, outcome-based narratives Track objections, insights, and trends to inform internal teams and improve demo effectiveness Support the creation of reusable demo narratives, assets, and frameworks Provide coaching and informal mentorship to Associate Solution Advisors How success is measured: Consistent delivery of compelling, well-aligned Vision Demonstrations Partnership effectiveness with AEs and other stakeholders Quality and clarity of customer-facing messaging Proactive contribution to demo improvements and team knowledge sharing Ability to surface opportunity risks, patterns, and blockers early Don’t have all the skills/experience mentioned above?
