El Centro de Referencia de Especialidades Veterinarias es un hospital especializado quirúrgico propiedad de un médico situado en Pattersonville, NY. Actualmente estamos buscando incorporar un asistente veterinario quirúrgico a nuestro equipo. Esta persona se unirá a nuestro equipo de asistentes quirúrgicos, que trabaja codo con codo con nuestros cirujanos y técnicos veterinarios titulados, garantizando el apoyo al paciente según corresponda, esterilizando instrumentos quirúrgicos, control de infecciones y otras tareas generales de apoyo. Responsabilidades laborales (no limitadas a) Sujeta y maneja de forma segura a los pacientes para técnicos que preparan perros para cirugía Ayuda con pruebas diagnósticas, tratamientos e inducción anestésica Preparar, limpiar y mantener quivórios, instrumentos y equipos quirúrgicos Haz el lavado y proporciona apoyo intraoperatorio manteniendo una técnica aséptica estricta Comunica eficazmente con los miembros del equipo y transmite actualizaciones críticas de los pacientes Experiencia y formación Mínimo de 2 años en un hospital veterinario (obligatorio) Se prefiere experiencia en cirugía o quirófano Se requiere el diploma de secundaria o equivalente Se prefiere la certificación de Asistente Veterinario, pero no es obligatoria Habilidades y Cualificaciones Competencia en el manejo y la inmovilización seguros de pacientes caninos y felinos Sólido conocimiento de la terminología veterinaria, procedimientos quirúrgicos, instrumentación, esterilización y técnicas asépticas Capacidad para ayudar con la anestesia y la preparación del paciente con gran atención al detalle Excelentes habilidades de multitarea y priorización en un entorno acelerado Fuertes habilidades de comunicación y trabajo en equipo Tranquilo, sereno y capaz de pensar críticamente bajo presión Flexible, adaptable y comprometido con el aprendizaje continuo y el crecimiento profesional #J-18808-Ljbffr Veterinary Specialties Referral Center
