What You'll Do

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on inmate records and clinical interviews
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and medical staff
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans for inmates
• Perform regular rounds in confined housing units to assess inmate mental health status
• Provide crisis intervention, mental health counseling, and appropriate treatment activities
• Document findings and treatment progress accurately
• Participate in team discussions to coordinate ongoing mental health care

What You Need

• Active license or board eligibility as a Psychologist
• BLS certification meeting CoreCivic standards
• Experience with mental health assessments and inmate populations

• Prior experience in correctional or inpatient mental health settings
• Strong knowledge of psychological counseling techniques and assessment tools

About the Assignment This contract role involves providing mental health care to inmates within a secure facility. The Psychologist will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver mental health services tailored to inmates' needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive inmate care, with oversight approved by facility standards. Support a structured environment dedicated to mental health improvement and inmate well-being.
