What You'll Do
- Conduct psychological screenings and assessments for inmates
- Develop, implement, and adjust individual treatment plans
- Collaborate with medical and mental health teams to coordinate care
- Perform rounds and assessments in confined housing areas
- Provide crisis intervention and mental health counseling
- Contribute to inmate mental health management and treatment follow-up
- Maintain detailed records of assessments and treatments
What You Need
- Valid license or eligibility (board-eligible minimum)
- Experience in mental health assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of psychological counseling techniques and procedures
About the Assignment This assignment involves providing essential mental health services within a correctional setting at a leading Nevada facility. You will work as part of a dedicated mental health team, ensuring inmates receive comprehensive evaluations and appropriate treatment in a structured and supportive environment. The role emphasizes collaboration with various healthcare and security staff to optimize inmate mental health outcomes.
