Embedded Firmware Engineer

Salary: $75,000 - 100,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• We require 3+ years of experience with embedded systems, with C/C++ as a must.
• We require 3+ years of experience in DC electrical design, engineering, and coding for a manufactured product.
• Hands-on experience is preferred.
• We are looking for a strong problem-solver who is willing to ask questions.
• We require strong references from prior reporting relationships that support suitability for the role.
• Preferred: experience designing automotive communication networks such as CAN, Lin, and NMEA2000.
• Preferred: experience with Flutter or a similar app/software framework.
• Preferred: experience in industrial design.
• Preferred: practical experience with AutoCad or Fusion360.
• Associate degree required.
• Embedded engineering experience: 1 year required.
• Ability to commute to Pensacola, FL 32503 required.

• We create new products related to our DC power management, including design, circuitry coding, and BOMs.
• We improve firmware and develop product apps with a balance of performance, ease of use, and safety.
• We support application and integration of our high-energy DC voltage regulators with widely used systems in the Marine and RV industries.
• We assist with technical decision-making and troubleshooting.
• We create technical product documentation.
• We manage multiple high-priority initiatives at the same time.
• We ensure newly developed products meet our standards and reflect the right aesthetic.
